Latter-day Laughs

Meridian reader Marsha Smith writes: “My daughter was sitting next to her 5-year-old son when she noticed he had written with pen all over the top of his head. When she asked him why he did it he replied: ‘I ran out of paper.’” Come laugh with us.

The paddle, which hung prominently on the wall, was shaped like a tennis racket, and about an inch thick. On one side was written “Board of education” and on the other were the words “Old Hickory”.

Meridian reader Kym Anderson writes: “Once during family home evening, we asked the children to tell us their favorite story about Jesus. Noah raised his hand and said: ‘My favorite story was when Jesus healed the ten leprechauns.’" Come laugh with us.

“I was looking for children to sing solos for ‘Follow the Prophet.’ A little Sunbeam raised his hand to volunteer. I asked him if he knew what it meant to sing a solo. He confidently nodded yes so I told him that he needed to sing alone. He sweetly sa
