Mormon Orchestra’s Children’s Concert

The Mormon Orchestra of Washington, D.C. will present its annual children and families concert “Music Around the World” on June 10, 2012 at 6:00 and 7:00 p. m. at the Washington D.C. LDS Temple Visitors’ Center. Featuring music from all around the world, the orchestra will perform pieces highlighting the unique cultures of North and South America, Asia, Europe and Africa. From Aaron Copland’s Rodeo to Bizet’s Carmen, this concert is sure to delight audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

Alex Boy, recording artist and Mormon Tabernacle Choir soloist, will perform with the Mormon Choir of Washington DC, and will share the story of his conversion to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
