Mormons Top in Gallup Poll Assessing the Importance of Religion

In the Boston Globe, Michael Paulsen reports on a new Gallup Poll of Muslim-Americans and among the key findings is this: “Of the religious groups studied, only Mormons (85%) are more likely than Muslims to say religion plays an important role in their lives.”

Answering the question of whether they were thriving, Mormons came in next to the top with 51% saying they are thriving. Only the Jews topped this number with 56% saying they are thriving.
