WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Annual Gala Dinner of the Washington, D.C. Chapter of the Brigham Young University Management Society will be held Saturday, April 8, 2006, at the Georgetown University Conference Center.

The purpose of the dinner is to raise scholarship funds for BYU students and to provide an opportunity for those who are interested in BYU or the LDS Church to socialize and network. More than 800 guests, including diplomats, government officials and business leaders, attended last year’s dinner.

This year, Kevin Rollins, President and CEO of Dell, Inc., will receive the Society’s Distinguished Business Leader Award. Additionally, CNN anchor and TV personality, Larry King, and his wife, Shawn, will receive the Distinguished Service Award for their work with the Larry King Cardiac Foundation. Shawn, a singer and actress, also will perform.
