BYUs-award-winning-a-cappella-group-Vocal-PointEven without Ben Fales, their talented baritone who had to go home to Australia because of his father’s grave illness, BYU’s Vocal Point impressed the judges with their high-energy “Jump, Drive an Wail” on Monday’s television show “The Sing Off.”

Singing in close harmony, the award-winning group executed their doo-woop style number with fun and jubilance and judges Ben Folds, Sara Bareilles and Shawn Stockman had nothing but praise for the group.

Sixteen groups in all are competing in this season’s show, with eight having performed Monday night. Four will continue on in the contest, including Vocal Point, competing for a Sony recording contract worth $200,000.
