Marvin Payne, a favorite and long-time Meridian writer, has a need.  His wife Laurie had a sudden arrhythmia which stopped her heart and breathing.  Through a miracle she survived, and she is now slowly recovering in the ICU with an uncertain future.  Since medical costs are astronomical, talented friends have come together to give her a benefit concert to help defray the costs.

We invite all Meridian readers who live in Utah to come to the concert Monday evening, Sept. 26th at 7:00 p.m. at Timberline Jr. High in Alpine to hear great entertainment and to benefit a great cause.

Performers include Sam Payne, former Young Ambassadors, Marvin Payne, April Moriarty and Todd McCabe, On Broadway Academy Companies, Utah Glee Club, The Dance Conservatory, and the Alpine Community Theater.  It is $10 for adults and $6 for kids.
