GRANT HARDY is a professor of History and Religious Studies at the University of North Carolina at Asheville. He has degrees from Brigham Young University and Yale, and has authored or edited several books on Chinese history and the Book of Mormon. He is currently working on a 36 lecture CD/DVD course for The Teaching Company entitled “Great Minds of the Eastern Intellectual Tradition,” which will be released this summer.?
