Second-Hand Gloves: Reining in TSA Screeners

America had stacks of statistics about the ill effects of smoking, but smokers still smoked wherever they wanted until people began talking about second-hand smoke.  That did it.  Smokers had gone too far.  Things changed.

As a parallel, those complaining about intrusive pat-downs by TSA screeners in airport security lines are going about it the wrong way.  What they should be complaining about is ... second-hand gloves.

TSA gloves may protect the screener, but what about protecting the health of the 20th passenger on whom they are used?  After all, who knows where they
have been?   

Demand clean gloves for each pat-down.

It'll lengthen the lines for a while, but in time there will be more respect for the flying public.
