The Oakland Temple Pageant "And It Came to Pass" was also performed live during its 44 year run. I had the honor of being the TD for 5 years and the testimony building power of the Pageant was truly marvelous. I also got to be TD for "City of Joseph" the original Nauvoo pageant in 1979. It was an experience I shall always remember.

"The Nauvoo Pageant is the only LDS pageant with live speaking actors, and during each performance the actors deliver their lines through small wireless microphones..." This is incorrect. The Martin Harris Pageant- The Man Who Knew, held in Clarkston, UT is also presented live. Nothing in the pageant is "canned" (pre-recorded). I have been participating in this pageant for 8 years and two nights are never the same!

My son, Merritt Moore, was a 2012 YPM. Our family went to Nauvoo to visit and watch his performances. There is a very special spirit in Nauvoo. I LOVE to go there. I love to walk the streets of the early saints, and attend the temple.
