After coming into the United States from the Middle east, I find that this is also a 'land flowing with milk and honey'. I this is an expression of plenty. not specifically milk or honey. We live in an area of plenty: the Central Valley of California. It is sometimes referred to as the 'bread basket of the USA'. Here again, not necessarily just bread! However, even in the middle of the 'bread basket' there are the hungry here!..

Great thoughts. My Blue Diamonds almonds are also dependent on the honey bee and are mentioned in the Bible.
