This sounds like a nice thing, but it all comes down to free agency. The Lord only has so much control to help us "just when we need it." I've had people orbit into my life "just when I needed them" and they helped me. On the other hand, I have had another person that I needed "at precise moments" orbit into my life several time in miraculous ways, yet every time I have tried to go to this person for help, he has refused, and other problems arose as a result, which have caused me financial, emotional, and spiritual pain. Will there ever be a time when this person will orbit back into my life and actually help me and be the answer to my prayers? Sometimes God's "orbits" hurt more than they help. And I agree with the other commentor that we should not stop petitioning The Lord for the blessings and help that we desire and have been promised.

Oh the stories I could tell! I am constantly amazed at the myriad ways our Heavenly Father is concerned with the details of our lives.

This reminds me of a time I prayed for help about a big problem, and as I shopped in a grocery store came upon a book rack. I "knew" one of the books would have the answer so I looked, starting at the top and going to the bottom. I knew the last book was the one I should buy. It held the help I had prayed for. I thought about God knowing the answer was in the book and realized He knows what is in every book!

Absolutely Beautiful! I agree with everything you said. I am always amazed at the way others "orbits" come into contact with mine in miraculous ways!

I have read this article before and it has brought much peace to my life. In fact I talked about it in a Priesthood lesion I gave this last Sunday. Would we all could understand that the Lord answers most prayers through us. Thanks

Thank you so much for your goodness, insight and clarity. Your article (and you!) came into my orbit at a most significantly troubling time for me. You have brought me joy and I now have a new perspective that will help guide me and save me during this turbulent time.

Thank you brother Barkdull. As I have experienced some hard times lately I too have recognized Gods hand in blessing me through friends and family who happen to be at the right place at the right time. But I'm not sure that repetition in prayer is a bad thing. Didn't the prophet Joseph teach "weary Him with your importunings, as the poor woman did the unjust judge," ?
