Matt Holland shares a moment with Elder Russell Nelson and his wife, Wendy, just before the President’s message.  Matt Holland, son of Elder Jeffrey R. and Sister Patricia Holland, is currently teaching at Princeton University.  Elder Russell M. Nelson was ordained a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles on April 12, 1984.  You can read more about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at www.mormon.com or www.lds.org

James C. Dobson, PhD., mingles with the other attendees.  Dr. Dobson is founder and chairman of Focus on the Family, a non-profit organization that produces his internationally syndicated radio programs, heard on more than 3,000 radio facilities in North America and in twenty-seven languages in approximately 4,130 additional facilities in more than 160 other countries.  Dr. Dobson's commentaries are heard by more than 220 million people by way of radio every day, including a translation of a program carried on state-owned radio stations in the Republic of China. He is seen on approximately 60 television stations daily in the U.S.  You can find out more about Dr. Dobson at www.family.org

Tony Perkins (right facing us) is President of the Washington, D.C. based Family Research Council.  Mr. Perkins is a former member of the Louisiana legislature, where he served for eight years, and he was recognized as a legislative pioneer for authoring measures like the nation's first Covenant Marriage law.  He has led FRC to aggressively continue their work affirming and defending the Judeo-Christian values that this nation is founded upon.  Tony hosts a weekly national radio program, "Washington Watch Weekly," and he also sends daily updates to tens of thousands of grassroots activists.  You can find out more about Tony Perkins and the Family Research Council at www.frc.org

Don Wildmon is an ordained United Methodist minister and has now rallied 2,973,454 supporters to sustain the American Family Association.  His OneMillionMoms.com and his OneMillionDads.com have rallied family forces to let advertisers hear their voices.  Don works from his hometown of Tupelo, Mississippi.  You can find out more about Don Wildmon at www.afa.net

Elder Russell M. Nelson enters the Presidential Hall of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building in Washington, D.C.  Elder Nelson had just come from a meeting with President George W. Bush and other religious leaders.

The press corps are always out in abundance at these events.

In this room were many other wonderful leaders from around the nation, including Gary Bauer, President of American Values (www.ouramericanvalues.org/) and numerous other religious and family-centered activists.

Scot and Maurine Proctor, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Meridian Magazine, a daily-updated Internet magazine with more than half-a-million readers in all 50 states and 195 countries.  The Proctors are also the directors of the Family Leader Network (www.familyleader.net), a grassroots organization whose mission is to educate, organize and mobilize citizens in defending faith, family and freedom in the public square.
