Berlin, set in post-World War II, is a musical written and composed by Erik Orton, a Broadway producer and BYU alumnus. BYU’s Theatre and Media Arts Department, in conjunction with BYU Television, united the efforts of students, faculty, and staff in presenting this dynamic and emotional story.

Orton’s musical depicts not only the fall of Berlin and the struggle of Berliners – a people who are sick of war and longing for freedom – but also the efforts that the United States , Great Britain , and France made to alleviate those struggles.

Berlin is part of BYU Television’s In Performance series. The In Performance series brings viewers the very best dance, music, singing, and performance programs that entertain, uplift and inspire.
