PROVO, Utah – Brigham Young University’s annual Family Expo will be held Monday and Tuesday, April 3-4, in the BYU Conference Center on campus.

The event’s theme, “By Small and Simple Things Are Great Things Brought to Pass” (Alma 37:6), is designed to strengthen families and teach parents how to raise a righteous posterity.

Speakers – including Elder Merrill C. Oaks (former member of the Second Quorum of the Seventy) and Josephine Ann C. Oaks, Mary Ellen Edmunds, Daniel K. Judd, John Bytheway, Paula Fellingham, and Mindy Gledhill – will discuss topics such as the overextended family, the second mile family, the blessings of obedience and the dangers of overzealousness, humor in the home, how to teach and show kindness in your home, and the sum of all grace.

Family Expo will last each day from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a lunch break from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Individual registration for the conference is $70 and registration for credit is $168. Married-couple registration is $105; student registration is $5 and is available only by calling (801) 422-8925. Tuition costs for this conference may be covered by university benefits for full-time BYU employees and their spouses.
