Heavenly Voices
Four-year-old Ella heard the Mormon Tabernacle Choir broadcast playing from the kitchen radio and said, “I hear church from far away!” She thought she could hear people singing all the way from our building. I thought it was great that she thought that our ward choir sounded even remotely like the Tabernacle Choir!

How I Knew
During a lesson on personal revelation in Relief Society, a sister commented: “I got a sudden and clear thought, and then I knew for sure that it wasn’t my own.” How we love that sister!

Primary Peer Pressure
Singing time in our local Primary is always a treat. Most of the kids love to be chosen as helpers, but occasionally, there are a few shy ones. Last Sunday, Oliver was chosen to help. He smiled bashfully and said he didn’t want to come up to the front of the classroom. Then a boisterous voice from behind yelled: “Come on! Be a MAN!” and the entire primary went into hysterics.

The Very Best Thing
Our 4-year-old grandson Robby has been really into “space exploration” (that’s what he calls it) since Christmas when he got a space shuttle building set as a gift. He recently checked out a HUGE stack of books from the library on the subject and while reading one about being an astronaut, his mother asked him if he like to be an astronaut when he grows up. He replied: “No. I’m going to be a daddy. Being a daddy is the very best thing in the whole world.” Sorry, NASA 😉

Laws of the Land
My son, Kel, while quoting the third Article of Faith, said: “We believe that through the atonement of Christ all mankind may be saved by obedience to the laws of gravity.”

Reading Between the Lines
While being interviewed for the college graduate spotlight, I was asked what my plans were after I graduated. I mentioned that I would be working and added that I would like to pursue a degree in “marriage and family therapy.” Apparently the local newspaper didn’t realize such a degree exists, because they reported that I was “pursuing marriage and graduate studies.” Maybe they read my mind in a way!
