Christopher Kirkland runs a venture capital group and is a global thought leader in the areas of innovation funding and entrepreneurship. A graduate of BYU’s Marriott School, he has twice served as an Alumni Chapter Chair (D.C. and Salt Lake County), and spoken at BYU Women’s Conference. He was also the co-founder of a Super PAC, and has created and led several companies. Like most members, he has had the opportunity to serve in a wide array of callings. He loves reading and studying church history and doctrine, teaching, and is always pleased to speak or present. After his return from Brazil as a missionary, he served as an ordinance worker in Provo and Washington D.C., and has served in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple since its dedication. He and his wife Melanie have five children and live in South Jordan, Utah.
