Hyrum Lewis is a professor of history at BYU-Idaho and, this year, a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University. He received a PhD in history and philosophy from USC. Before coming to BYU-Idaho, he taught at Skidmore College in New York. Professor Lewis was born in Arizona and raised in Oregon. He served in the Chile-Viña del Mar Mission. He and his wife, Sundee, live with their kids in Rexburg, Idaho.
