The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints last week released a new group photo of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, the Church’s second-highest presiding body.
The photo includes the faith’s three newest apostles — Elders Ronald A. Rasband, Gary E. Stevenson and Dale G. Renlund.
In addition to their primary responsibility to be special witnesses of the name of Christ throughout the world, the apostles have heavy administrative responsibilities as they oversee the orderly progress and development of the global Church.
Just as their counterparts in ancient times were sent throughout the world, the apostles today travel the world to strengthen and encourage Church members, organize new congregations and conduct Church business.
Pictured starting with the bottom row, from left to right they are: President Russell M. Nelson, Elder Dallin H. Oaks, Elder M. Russell Ballard, Elder Robert D. Hales and Elder Jeffrey R. Holland. Standing in the top row from left to right, are: Elder David A. Bednar, Elder Quentin L. Cook, Elder D. Todd Christofferson, Elder Neil L. Andersen, Elder Ronald A. Rasband, Elder Gary E. Stevenson, and Elder Dale G. Renlund.

Thank you for printing the names of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in order of seating. Now I can put names to faces . . . not an easy task for some of us. Wonderful to know our comments are actually read, and even better to see that action is taken when possible! So helpful.
