Great metaphor! I’m sharing it! The fact that each secret op agent has a unique mission is evidence of God’s love. Every person’s mission is entirely unique to them and is filled with endless streams of people to serve and continual mission-making decisions day by day. May with determine to commit fully to our unique missions, which are happening now, wherever we are!

Memorable and inspiring metaphor! I’m sharing it with several secret ops agents. Thanks, Shalissa Lindsay! She wouldn’t want me saying it, but I want you to “taste of the...goodness of which I did taste” (Alma 36:24), so if you want more memorable metaphors and teaching tools check out Shalissa Lindsay’s book, Answers Will Come.

Very uplifting and assuring. We are not alone in our struggle. There is plenty of help out there. Often we feel abandoned because we're conditioned to believe that only Jesus can "poof" things all right for us, when we should be aware that Jesus posted countless hundreds of "secret ops" in each vicinity to help us along the way. We have to be aware that spiritual growth is our own responsibility, and as soon as we recognize this, "secret ops" spring up around us like magic to help us on our way.

Wonderful article that reminds us of our forgotten heros that do so much...the secret ops agents that surround us and can even be found reflecting in our own mirrors. This article is a definite keeper.

This article was delightful! I want to be among those who weave beauty (life, light, love) into the lives of those around them.

Shalissa, thank you for being a powerful undercover media operator, expertly fighting Satan’s propaganda. Your strong effort will not be in vain. Those who remind themselves often of the perspective you have shared will have untold advantages in the war against Satan and his forces. The devil is very skilled at convincing many that they are not on a battlefield in the middle of an epic, eternal war, where their lives and futures are at stake. It is crucial that everyone on this earth is informed and frequently reminded that we are, and that wearing the Armor of God is critical to our success. You are one of the many unsung heros you have introduced to us, cleverly leaving out their last names. Thank you. I will share this perspective with as many as I can reach. Thank you also for pointing out the interfaith operatives and the very real friendly fire. We Christians are much stronger when we fight Satan as a team. I know this from being the lone LDS member of a very strong interfaith women’s Bible study and prayer group. I also have witnessed this strength in our southwest Michigan’s growing unity between the Christian faiths as they prepare, now for their fifth year, to perform Rob Gardner’s oratorio, Lamb of God. The established standards of leaving our differences at the door and not mentioning our denominations unless directly asked has broken down many walls permanently, with impact that reflects the impact of the fall of the Berlin Wall. The powerful oratorio itself is a masterful tool to bring all people who experience it closer to Christ. The inspiring music about the last week of the Savior’s life, portrayed through his associates, is a powerful weapon used to recruit and strengthen many undercover operatives. The music is so beautiful and challenging, it has attracted a local French horn player, who does not believe in God, to participate in the orchestra.
