God was once a mortal man just like you and I. So who or what created the universe?

Nice work. FARMS will be publishing a book on understanding Genesis 1...

I loved this article - can feel my mind expanding!! Can we have more?! Many thanks!

good article... good questions... and more to come... life, creation, and the earth and infinity and the of the universes... far more to imagine than some will have the courage to consider. Lead on...

Very nice work by Dr. Bradshaw (whom I have collaborated with via email.) Sometime in the next few years, FARMS/The Maxwell Institute will be publishing a book on how to read Genesis 1 in its ancient Near Eastern setting (and make sense of Moses, Abraham, and the temple as well). See the bottom section and links of https://timesandseasons.org/index.php/2013/10/a-series-of-announcements-or-be-excited-be-very-excited/

I often point out that if we believe that God is Eternal, we should not be at all surprised to find the Universe appearing to be quite old.

I too like the book of genesis. I did not make a lot of headway with it until i really asked the question. Why is it we have four different versions. Only one in the bible and 2 in the pearl of great price and yet another in the temple telling us about the first few chapters of genesis.
