Thank you for your article. You helped me with a struggle I have been having, deciding whether to have an egg hunt for my grandchildren the Saturday before Easter. I, too, want Easter to be about the Savior. We shall have a fun Saturday and devote Sunday, as it should be, to the Savior. Thank you.

We have an additional alternative. We celebrate the Spring bunny as a family home evening activity on the Monday following Easter. It allows us to fully focus on the most significant event in human history...the Resurrection of our Savior. The other plus, is candy is half price Monday morning
