Where is all that “see the good”, and not speak ill of another, at no time when the last person was running for office did such unkind attitude take place, as I have witness now.
Has anyone bother to read the Trump book on Cripple America or things he had said in his younger days etc.? I am disappointed at the behavior toward Trump, I call him America Street Fighter we need someone who is on neutral turf. Trump is a child of God… would a true missionary have this attitude?
Would we not be embarrassed if the Lord is using him as his instrument? Such things did happen in the scriptures. We LDS are so blessed to know the word of the Lord in these latter days, others had to do the best they can by their own wit. What happen to praying for those to take their God given talent and allow the Lord to edify them.

This article is not about Mitt even though he is quoted at the end.. It is about me, the lifelong Mormon that has raised her hand in support many many times for leaders of my faith....I cannot do that for someone that goes against my principals and I believe God's principals in the upcoming election.. I will not vote for the "lesser of two evils" I actually believe Trump is well intentioned but putting a bull in the china Shop is going to break us..I continue to pray and look for where my vote is going to go ... I have time and I have faith that I will find the answer come November and though my choice may not be the winner my conscience will.

If the Republicans lose the White House this time around, it will be their own fault, for having bypassed other candidates who probably would have stood a better chance ( I am thinking of John Kasich, Chris Christie, Marco Rubio, and possibly Carly Fiorina or Ted Cruz.)

I do agree with your comments, but I think there is a bigger elephant in the room. Mormons are extremely aware of the divine design in the bringing forth this nation. Donald Trump has no like vision. Ted cruse has a similar view as the members of the church of our nations founding, He has a reverence and a strong support for the the Constitution. Many don't want it to get to the point of where it hangs by a thread and many feel that we are quickly getting to that point. Many in the church voted for Ted Cruse and not Donald Trump or John Kasich because this concern.

Because of his strong rhetoric, there is a tencdency to believe that Mitt Romney speaks for Mormon voters. This may not be accurate. It is difficult to understand why he suddenly became so vocal, so late -- essentially too late -- in the primary election season. Does he not understand that support for the candidate of his choice from the beginning, would have been far more effective than late, emotional attacks on the presumptive Party nominee? Hillary almost certainly appreciates Mitt's efforts, since they appear to promote her. Do we not in the Church teach that positive, scripture based lessons are much more meaningful than emotional, arm-waving sensationalism?
