Our 9 year old son was recently diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Modern grain products send his glucose levels through the roof. The only thing he can eat without being dependent on outside insulin is meat, nuts and some vegetables. After further research we discovered modern grain does not even closely resemble what God created for us. Man has modified wheat and corn to the point it is extremely destructive to our systems and is one of the primary causes of cancer, obesity, diabetes etc. I would agree with you if the grain you were talking about was the same grain God gave us thousands of years ago. The word of wisdom was given against the conspiring designs of evil men. This now includes our food sources. I have been involved in farming and ranching most of my life. The food produced today is not even the same as 40 years ago. High carb diet? Certain death for my son. Not sure where you are getting your information from but it certainly needs re-evaluated.
