Again, Lee and his team have done a marvelous job in capturing the essence of Handel's work and the setting for the Messiah, giving all of us a better understanding and love for his music and the lyrics inspired by Isaiah. Many thanks.

I loved this movie. The story was well done and I loved the scenes of the music sung in many different countries and languages. When I read the scriptures this was taken from, I always hear the music in my head. So much more meaning! Thanks for doing such a great job.

Great Job Lee, I love the music and learned much I didn't know before about how it can to be. We all know the source of the inspiration for it. I hope it gets widely distributed elsewhere besides BYUtv. Dee is in Cambodia helping children with education and I have moved to Idaho Falls. Wade

Will this film be available for watching on-line, purchase or downloading? I missed the broadcast.

The Messiah by BYU TV was very enlightening for me. I had known only that he composed it in a phenomenally short time: I had not known at all what librettist Jennens or soprano/actress Cillers brought to its creation and success. The significance of Jennens work in extracting a huge depth of meaning from Isaiah is impressive.
