As a recently arrived expat to the UAE, I see this symbol on mosques, walls, floors, mosaics, etc. What a beautiful way to remember Christ.

The article reminds me the Arabic numeral 8 on its side symbolizes infinity. John the Baptist was ordained by an angel when 8 days old (D&C 84.27-28) baptism was symbolic of Christ's Atonement (Romans Ch. 6). Fascinating stuff. Thank you.
